About Allied Tree & Land Pros
Allied Tree & Land Pros is a veteran-owned, family-operated West Virginia tree service built on safety, skill, and doing right by our neighbors. From routine pruning to the most dangerous emergency removals, our crew brings the experience and the equipment to get the job done — and done right.
Our Story
Allied Tree & Land Pros was founded in 2015 by Steven, a United States Marine Corps veteran with a lifelong passion for the outdoors. After his service, Steven brought a Marine's work ethic to the tree industry — an approach built on precision, safety, discipline, and the honor of doing every job the right way, the first time.
Over the years since, Steven has built deep, hands-on expertise across every side of the trade: dangerous and near-structure tree removal, tree health and disease, careful pruning and trimming, and the practical realities of running crews and equipment in West Virginia's steep, wooded terrain. That experience is the foundation of how we work today — and it's why homeowners trust us with the trees they can't afford to get wrong.
More than a decade later, Allied is still family-owned and locally run out of Augusta, with a six-person crew and a shop full of the right equipment for the region's toughest jobs. We're big enough to handle multi-acre clearing and multi-day storm cleanup, and small enough that the owner still answers the phone.

Credentials You Can Count On
Owner-operated by a working arborist
Steven has spent 11 years in tree care — assessing, climbing, rigging and removing. Every job is quoted and run by the person who does the work, not a salesman.
Fully insured
We carry the insurance coverage that protects your property and our crew. Ask for details any time — we're glad to share it before a job.
Family-owned, 6-person crew
A tight, experienced crew of six means the people who quote your job are the people who do it — no rotating subcontractors, no corners cut.
Safety-First, Always
Every job starts with a risk assessment — the tree's condition, lean, defects, targets below, and the safest way down. We follow industry best practices and use the right gear for the situation instead of taking shortcuts. On compromised trees, that often means working from our CMC 90 HD Arbor Pro spider lift rather than climbing a trunk that can't be trusted.
The Right Equipment
Beyond the spider lift, our fleet includes excavators, skid steers and mini skid steers, wood chippers, stump grinders, bucket trucks, dump trailers, brush cutters and bush hog, and more — so most removals, cleanups, and land-clearing jobs get finished in a single visit, with the debris hauled away.
I'd had a tree I wanted down for about the past 12 years since I bought my house. I made countless attempts to get anyone to come out, and if they did, it was way overpriced. I got ahold of Steve — he came out, was very professional and friendly, and gave me a good price. He came back out, took it down, and did a really good job, and always got back to my phone calls if I had any questions. I highly recommend this business to anyone and will definitely use them again.
